Here is a little about Conil…

Conil is surrounded by a very diverse landscape, with its breath-taking coastline, old Spanish town features, undeveloped countryside, pine forests and many surrounding traditional villages. The area is in keeping with the inhabitants’ way of life – as they make their living from farming, fishing, trading, small businesses and also from tourism.

You have to see the beach!!

All in all, 16 km of sandy beach stretches as far as the eye can see. It is  suitable and used regualrly for a variety of leisure activities and water sports, for the young or old. Some beaches stretch back to dramatic cliffs. They are said to be the most beautiful beaches of all the Spanish coastlines!

Within easy drive (and excellent roads) are classic historic towns such as Seville, Cordoba, Cadiz, Jerez and Arcos…  so there’s plenty to do and see.

Typically Andalucian… the Spanish love Conil!

Conil is fast becoming popular with summer tourists. Indeed Conil is very popular with the Spanish themselves in summer. Because of this it still retains it’s typical Andalucian feel with narrow cobbled streets, real Tapas bars, open-air markets at weekends and pavement cafes around the main plazas. And you’ll love the people. July and August are particularly popular with the Spanish and the Town becomes busy and lively with numerous festivals.
