Restaurante Patria is a restaurant run by a very friendly Danish couple. Åse is front of house and Thomas being the chef.
The restaurant is located on top of a hill and has fantastic views over the town and beaches of Conil and Vejer, which you can enjoy from the outside terrace or the conservatory. The interior is decorated in a cool mix of traditional and contemporary.
Thomas and Åse, concentrate very much on fine local “in season” produce. The menu is small and selective and changes very regularly. It is presented beautifully and tastes heavenly.
Keen wine drinkers themselves, they have an excellent selection of fine Spanish wines to suit all budgets.
At certain times of the year they open for Saturday and Sunday lunch when they serve a wonderful buffet style lunch of fabulous quality.
In a nutshell… One of the best restaurants in Andalucia on our doorstep. Please try it..You wont be disappointed!!

Casa Milan is a very friendly and cosy restaurant. The owner and chef Milan specialises in delicious steaks and melt in the mouth Iberican meats, such as secreto and presa and as a rule usually at least one fresh fish dish. They always accompany the meal with nice crispy grilled vegetables (quite a rarity here). They have a variety of live music every Thursday, this creates a wonderful atmosphere that will ensure a memorable evening.
